Compatibility with plastics and elastomers
The protocol of test selected, was voluntarily made severe, in order to fulfill without reserve the technical requirements of the users. The speed of evaporation of all BIOSANE T 218 range is lower than 1 minute. The time of contact for some industrial applications, in particular in baths can be higher. The results were thus measured after a voluntarily prolonged immersion of 1 hour. For each test-tube of material to be tested, dimension and weight are measured. The test-tubes are immersed during 1 hour in the solvent environment to be tested, at room temperature (22°C). The tests are reproduced 3 times. After immersion, ponderal variation, dimensional variation and visual aspect are established; is taken into account the average of 3 measurements.

Conclusion
The tests carried out show the perfect compatibility of BIOSANE T 218' range with respect to the plastics and elastomers tested. In case of presence of PMMA, the users will better give priority to the only reference BIOSANE T 218.
